Spring Cup Season Update - November 8th 2022

With 5 game weeks left, we are heading into an exciting part of the Spring Cup Season! Please see some updates below as well as further information on our Gala Day.

1) Fixtures and Divisions

- Fixtures have been released for all age groups until Saturday December 3rd.

- Please double check fixtures towards the end of each week as changes may happen.

- Division changes were made to 4 MiniRoos teams: Ecuador, Chile, Italy and Iceland.

- As per usual, these can be accessed on our 2022 Spring Cup Season page.

2) Finals format

- Our Gala Day and final day for the Spring Cup Season will be Saturday December 10th.

- Here, each MiniRoos/Junior (U8+) division will have one round of finals to determine the end of season ranking.

- Within each division, 1st will play 2nd, 3rd vs 4th, etc.

- For Minis (U6/7), we will come up with a final round of fixtures that best reflects each team's ability and results.

- Exact fixtures for Saturday December 10th will be released on Tuesday December 6th.

- There will be a prize for winners of divisions :)

3) Gala Day

- On Saturday December 10th, in addition to a full day of finals competition, we will have fun activities for all!

- These include: a BBQ (from 9 to 2pm), Sydney FC football activation, face paint (from 8:30 to 1pm), prizes for division leaders and more...

- Parents are please asked to help run the BBQ in shifts - 3 to 4 people per hour. If you would like to help, please reach out!

4) Summer Holiday Camps and football in 2023

- Our Summer Camp registrations are open! 

• Week 1: Tues 20, Wed 21 & Thur 22 December 
• Week 2: Tues 3, Wed 4 & Thur 4 January
• Week 3: Tues 10, Wed 11 & Thur 12 January
• Week 4: Tues 17, Wed 18 & Thur 19 January 

- Registration for our short 2023 Summer Kickstarter Season will be released by end November.

- Information for our main 2023 Winter Season will be released in November and registration will open on January 3rd.
